Varicose vein removal is performed on an outpatient basis with a gentle laser procedure. With the help of a small puncture or miniature incision of 1-4 mm, an optical laser beam (fiber) is inserted into the vein, which seals the damaged vein.
Removal of varicose veins or varices today does not only belong to aesthetic treatments, but mainly has a preventive character. It eliminates serious health problems such as thrombosis or leg ulcers, diseases of the lymphatic system. Varicose vein removal focuses on both spider veins and large varicose veins. Their formation involves genetic dispositions, lifestyle, overweight, smoking, strenuous standing at work, or conversely long sitting, lack of movement, pregnancy, or a combination of these factors.
We perform varicose vein removal either by sclerotherapy or with a high-performance top laser. Both methods are today more sought after than classic surgical treatment due to their effectiveness and gentleness, and they also burden the organism less.

Varicose vein removal is an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia, by agreement also under analgosedation, exceptionally for more sensitive patients the procedure can be performed under general anesthesia. Laser beams penetrate the surface venous tissue with the required radiofrequency energy without damaging the dermis. Under the action of light energy, hemoglobin absorption occurs, subsequent thermal heating and elimination of varicose veins. The procedure is almost painless, lasts about 30 minutes, after treatment the patient returns to daily life without restrictions.
When removing varicose veins by sclerotherapy, the injection site is immediately covered with a patch with gauze after the solution is injected, and a compressive elastic bandage is applied to the treated area, the patient goes home after 2 hours.
