Varicose vein removal is an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia, by agreement also under analgosedation, exceptionally for more sensitive patients the procedure can be performed under general anesthesia. Laser beams penetrate the surface venous tissue with the required radiofrequency energy without damaging the dermis. Under the action of light energy, hemoglobin absorption occurs, subsequent thermal heating and elimination of varicose veins. The procedure is almost painless, lasts about 30 minutes, after treatment the patient returns to daily life without restrictions.
When removing varicose veins by sclerotherapy, the injection site is immediately covered with a patch with gauze after the solution is injected, and a compressive elastic bandage is applied to the treated area, the patient goes home after 2 hours.
