Today, many of us struggle, albeit reluctantly, with various skin growths such as moles, genital warts (condylomas), verrucas, fibromas, and freckles. Often removal is an aesthetic problem, but it is good not to underestimate any formation on the body (they can be located anywhere) and rather always undergo examination to assess health risks. There are serious reasons for their removal, as most of them are caused by HPV virus (human papillomavirus) and spread through body contact, so there is a risk of spreading infection to other parts of the body. It is also important to rule out whether it is a benign formation.
An effective tool for removing all skin growths used in aesthetic, surgical and gynecological medicine is a quality high-performance CO2 laser designed for targeted treatment without the need for suturing, to achieve smooth skin without scars and bleeding. Our facility has the latest model of top-performance laser.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. The laser transmits a directly directed laser beam to a predetermined location, formation, and this causes vaporization of the tissue. The laser beam can be directed both in terms of diameter and transmitted energy. The skin growth is either cut out or removed – vaporized over the entire surface. The laser beam also safely helps stop bleeding at the treated site. The removed formation is sent for histological examination as needed.
