We specialize in breast augmentation procedures. We perform hundreds of breast augmentations each year.
Breast augmentation, or breast surgery, is one of the most common surgical procedures sought by women for a specific goal. Women may be dissatisfied with the size or shape of their breasts, or they may have asymmetry. Some patients wish to undergo breast augmentation for aesthetic reasons, while others need to restore the size of their breasts to their pre-pregnancy shape or after significant weight loss or illness. Breast augmentation is usually performed using silicone implants (augmentation), which can come in various shapes.
Certified silicone gel implants resemble breast tissue in their consistency. They are hygienically safe, secure, and firm. For breast augmentation, either round or anatomical implants, which are shaped like a drop, are used. Always based on consultation, the client’s attributes, and body proportions, the implants are selected to ensure the result is as natural as possible. Our clinic offers breast implants from brands such as MOTIVA, POLYTECH, NAGOR, MENTOR, and B-LITE.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Incisions approximately 4 cm long are always made according to the physician’s design beneath the breasts to allow for the insertion of the implant. These implants are placed either under the pectoral muscle or under the breast gland. In less common cases, access for implant insertion may be through an incision in the axillary area or an incision around the areola. This depends on the patient’s body characteristics as well as the effect we aim to achieve. Drains are placed in the surgical area, which function for better drainage of blood and tissue secretions for 24 hours, serving as an important means for faster healing and participating in the elimination of inflammatory processes. After the implants are inserted, the incisions are closed with absorbable material. After the procedure, the patient is fitted with an elastic reinforced bra to secure the implants and is hospitalized for 1 to 2 days as necessary. After a check-up and removal of the drains, the patient leaves with instructions from the physician for home care.
Breast augmentation surgery (augmentation) is considered an invasive surgical procedure, and it can only be undergone by a patient in good health. Approximately 3 weeks before the procedure, we recommend discontinuing blood-thinning medications, including those containing acetylsalicylic acid, which could cause increased bleeding during and after the procedure. It is also advisable to limit smoking before and after the procedure, as it significantly slows down the healing process.
After the breast augmentation procedure, swelling and tenderness may occur, which typically subside within a few days. Breast augmentation (augmentation mammoplasty) requires a 1- to 2-day hospitalization, and postoperative care is necessary, including approximately a 10-day period of rest. Elastic garments should be worn continuously for 4 days, after which showering is allowed. However, wearing the elastic garment is essential for at least 1 month. Avoid physical exertion for 2 months, as well as visiting a sauna or solarium. All stitches are absorbable, eliminating the need for removal. To reduce the formation of scars, it is advisable to incorporate gentle pressure massages into care approximately 2 weeks post-surgery and to apply high-quality moisturizing creams. Scars that remain after the procedure will fade over time. The final effect is visible approximately 3 months after the surgery. An effective method of breast augmentation using quality implants provides fuller shape and a more attractive appearance. Today’s modern techniques allow for excellent results; however, regular check-ups are recommended once a year following breast augmentation.
