Excess fat is then aspirated using special fine liposuction cannulas connected to a suction device. The effect of the anesthetic is up to 20 hours. Buttock liposuction lasts about 2 hours, the patient puts on compression underwear after the procedure and goes home with postoperative instructions.

Buttock liposuction is only suitable for a healthy patient. We recommend stopping blood thinners, including medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid, at least 2 weeks before the buttock liposuction procedure. Buttock liposuction is a bit more demanding than other liposuctions, yet effective. The treated area may show redness, swelling or bruising may form at the injection site, which disappears within a few days. Showering is suitable up to 24 hours after the procedure, compression underwear must be worn for 2-6 weeks, except for personal hygiene. We recommend a rest mode of at least 7 days, after about 2-4 days you can engage in light activities.
In the case of classic buttock liposuction, it is necessary to prevent the formation of bumps and other irregularities, so we recommend using wooden rollers and smoothing the skin with a gentle massage technique, just 30 minutes a day, about 14 days. We also recommend lubricating the treated area.
