Dr. Karel Urban is a graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. In addition to his work since 2000 at the Esthé Plastic Surgery Clinic, where he specialized in aesthetic surgery and was a co-owner, he has also been working at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of Bulovka Faculty Hospital since 1998, focusing primarily on reconstructive plastic surgery. At this hospital, he served as the head of the clinic for seven years and is currently involved in teaching students from the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague.
At the same hospital, he is an indispensable member of the Comprehensive Surgical Care Center for Women with Breast Diseases. Dr. Urban is one of the most successful plastic surgeons in the field of breast reconstruction for women who have undergone mastectomy due to breast cancer. Within the university clinic, he is involved in all its activities and ranks among the top plastic surgeons at this institution.
